Laura appeared as Mother Darken in Darken, the digital series. You might recognize her from Murdoch Mysteries as Cora Brooks, Season 7 Ep.10 "Murdoch in Ragtime". You can also see her opposite Dean McDermott in the feature film "Ecstasy", adapted from the novel by Irvine Welsh.
Laura recently directed the award-winning short film "Love, Sarah" starring Francesco Antonio and co-directed the short film "Joey" starring Lucie Guest.
Laura is best known for her roles in Pontypool and Super Powers.
